What is included in the charter price?
The charter price includes the rental of the yacht and its equipment. The mandatory Comfort Package (€600) is already included in the final price we calculate for you. It covers final cleaning, bed linen, towels, a dinghy with outboard engine, and basic bathroom and kitchen essentials. Optional extras (skipper, hostess, water toys) are charged separately.
Do I need a license to charter a catamaran?
Yes. For bareboat charters, you need a valid skipper’s license recognized in the sailing area (e.g. a VHF license in Croatia). If you do not have a license, we can arrange a professional skipper.
What are the payment terms?
Generally, 50% of the charter fee is due upon booking, with the remaining 50% due 4 weeks before the charter starts (custom payments options also avalable). Payments can be made via IBAN transfer, credit card, PayPal, or cryptocurrency.
What is the security deposit?
A security deposit is required for bareboat charters to cover any potential damages. It is fully refundable if no damage occurs.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Yes, you are welcome to provision the boat yourself. We can also arrange provisioning services upon request.
Why do you offer Friday check-ins?
Friday check-ins help you avoid marina crowds and get a head start on your trip. Being one day ahead means quieter bays, restaurants, and marinas. It’s a real game changer, as around 99% of charters start on Saturday.
Do you offer check-ins on other days besides Friday?
Yes, check-ins on other days are possible when available. However, we strongly recommend Friday arrivals for the best overall experience and greater scheduling flexibility.
Can we do a one-way trip to Dubrovnik?
If this is your first time visiting Croatia, we generally don’t recommend a one-way trip, as it increases travel time and limits access to nearby islands. Dubrovnik also has limited marina options. We suggest visiting Dubrovnik before or after your sailing trip (taxi transfer takes approximately 3 hours). If you still choose a one-way charter, the extra charge is €600 plus marina fees (approximately €300).
Can we book for less than 7 days (e.g. 3 nights)?
Our itineraries are designed for a minimum of one week, as we sail to destinations where shorter trips would limit the overall experience. The price remains the same whether you stay for three nights or a full seven days, so we strongly recommend booking a full week to fully enjoy the islands and the natural rhythm of sailing.
Why are your prices higher than some competitors?
We focus on offering best-equipped yachts that are maintained to a high standard. Our Friday check-ins help avoid crowds, and we work with highly rated crews and partners. This level of quality and service limits how much we can reduce prices, though we remain open to market-based adjustments where possible.
Are dogs / pets allowed on board?
Dogs are allowed on board. However, any damage caused will be covered from the security deposit.
How is the weather?
The sailing season offers very stable and favorable weather conditions. From May through September, days are generally warm and sunny, with average daytime temperatures between 25–30°C and pleasant sea temperatures. Winds are usually moderate, making conditions ideal for both sailing and swimming. Occasional summer storms can occur, but they are typically short-lived and well forecasted.
When is the best time to come?
May & October – Perfect if you’re looking for budget-friendly sailing and fewer crowds. Enjoy affordable prices, peaceful bays, and a relaxed atmosphere. June & September – A great balance of excellent weather and moderate prices. The areas are lively without being overcrowded—ideal months for pleasant sailing experiences. July & August – This is peak sailing season with the warmest weather and vibrant energy. Even though popular spots may get busier, with a skilled captain you can still easily find secluded bays to relax in peace.
Can children come on board?
Children love the experience — jumping into crystal-clear bays, swimming in turquoise lagoons, and exploring hidden beaches that can only be reached by boat.
What is the recommended dress code onboard?
During the day, light and comfortable clothing is best—swimwear, hats, and sunglasses are essential. For evenings on board or ashore, elegant casual attire is ideal. We recommend non-slip shoes for safe movement on deck.
Is Wi-Fi and other modern technology available onboard?
Yes, most of our yachts are equipped with Wi-Fi, power outlets, sound systems, and other modern amenities to enhance your onboard experience.
What happens in case of bad weather?
We continuously monitor weather forecasts. If necessary, the itinerary will be adjusted to ensure safety and comfort, while still providing the best possible sailing experience. Usually bad weather clears out in a day or two.
Is travel insurance recommended?
Yes, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation and medical coverage. Some policies also cover charter deposit insurance.
Where can we park our car?
Secure parking is available at the marina for an additional daily fee. We will provide details on booking a parking space upon request.
Which boats / catamarans do you offer?
Anything from Lagoon 38 to Lagoon 77. And Fountaine Pajot from the smallest to the largest catamaran.
Which boat do you suggest for our charter?
We usually recommend the Lagoon 43 as the best overall choice for value, space and performance — it’s perfect for families or groups and comes very well equipped. For those who want extra comfort and flybridge, the Lagoon 46 is our next suggestion with more luxury and space aboard. We also have other models like the Lagoon 51 or Lagoon 55 for larger groups or premium experiences — just let us know your preferences and we’ll tailor the best boat for you.
When is Lagoon 47 coming?
Soon :)
What does the hostess do on the catamaran?
The hostess takes care of daily comfort on board. She prepares breakfast and lunch, handles provisioning, keeps the interior clean and organized, and assists with general onboard needs. This allows guests to fully relax and enjoy the sailing experience without worrying about cooking or housekeeping.
What does the captain / skipper / skiper do on the catamaran?
The captain / skipper is responsible for safely operating the yacht and managing all navigation. He plans the route based on weather and your preferences, handles docking and anchoring, and ensures a smooth and secure sailing experience. The captain also shares local knowledge and suggestions to help you make the most of your trip.
